Abisola Babalola is a development practitioner, with research interests surrounding the achievement of good governance, development and peace in developing countries/contexts. Prior to joining the Cambridge MPP, Abisola devoted her career to supporting the cause for global food and nutrition security, working in agencies such as the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations (UNFAO) and the World Food Programme (UNWFP). Prior to that, she obtained degrees in Law (LLB) from the University of Leeds, and International Development Law & Human Rights (LLM) from the University of Warwick. Abisola remains focused on contributing significantly to the cause for a world free from barriers to adequate human, economic and environmental development.
